Inside the Deadly Murder of Ebrima Cham
Brim Cham, 35, was killed on 19 December 2019 after clashing with drug dealers in Hounslow. Known for robbing fellow dealers, Cham’s trouble started when Dube targeted him for a payback.
On the fatal day, Dube, Emmons, and Dawuda-Wodu tracked Cham to a flat on Grove Road. They smashed the door after no answer, stormed in, and stabbed him repeatedly. He was found collapsed in the kitchen, fatally wounded with 11 stab wounds, the deadliest being a deep chest wound.
Police used CCTV to track the criminals’ getaway car. Though the driver escaped murder charges, the three attackers were swiftly arrested.
Chilling Details of William Algar’s Murder and Body Disposal
William Algar, 53, disappeared in Barnes in early January 2020. Police discovered his dismembered body at his home after a family member reported him missing. He was last seen alive on 1 December 2019 cycling to a cashpoint.
The court heard how Dawuda-Wodu, Emmons, Lucima, and Harding handled Algar’s body disposal. Emmons’ phone had incriminating searches such as “Can acid dissolve a body?” and references to ‘Breaking Bad’.
Lucima bought cleaning supplies, including bleach and black bin bags. On 18 December, the group transported the body parts in bags and a suitcase via taxi to Nowell Road and finally dumped remains on Hounslow Heath. A post mortem confirmed death by stabbing to the chest.
Detective Praises Brave Witnesses and Family
“I personally thank the witnesses who bravely gave evidence despite knowing the gang’s extreme violence,” said Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Tunstall. “Many were drug users yet they stood up and told the truth, helping deliver justice.”
“The sentences for the murder of Brim Cham reflect the grave danger these men posed. The public can rest assured they’ll be off the streets for a very long time. I also commend Brim Cham’s family for their incredible dignity throughout this difficult trial.”
