Two More Men Arrested in Upminster Burglary Investigation
Police have arrested two more men in their ongoing probe into a shocking incident in Upminster. Both men, in their 30s, are now in custody.
Burglary and Conspiracy Charges
- One man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
- The other man faces charges of conspiracy to commit burglary and assisting an offender.
Both remain held as detectives continue their inquiries.
Gunshot Injuries and Knife Wounds at Kerry Drive
The chaos unfolded on Friday, 1 May, around 9:30pm when police and London Ambulance Service rushed to a home on Kerry Drive.
Two victims were found injured:
- An 11-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound and is now in hospital in serious but stable condition.
- A man in his 40s sustained head lacerations; thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigation Ongoing – Public Urged to Come Forward

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the case and is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 6 May.
