Police Find Stolen Jewellery and Key Evidence

Officers forced entry and discovered a haul of stolen jewellery. Crucially, DNA evidence found on a rear window matched Cawley. Cell site data also placed him in Hedge End on the day of the offence, sealing his fate.

Guilty Plea Ahead of Sentencing

Cawley confessed to the burglary at Southampton Magistrates Court on February 3, 2023, before receiving his custodial sentence this week.
