A violent offender who launched a brutal attack on two men outside a business in Medway has been sentenced to over five years in prison following a Kent Police investigation.
Attacker Used Brick and Sword in Assault
The incident took place on Friday, May 12, 2023, near Rochester High Street, when 22-year-old Cyrese Moses, of Westway in Caterham, Surrey, entered a shop armed with a weapon and chased a man out of the building before attacking him with a brick. The first victim suffered a minor hand injury.

A second man, known to the first victim, was then seriously assaulted by Moses before managing to escape and raise the alarm.
Victim Stabbed, Attacker Detained by Public
Emergency services, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded to the scene at 9:30 a.m. A 19-year-old victim was treated for stab wounds before being taken to a London hospital, where he later recovered.
“I would particularly like to thank those members of the public who reacted quickly to assist the victims and those whose evidence helped secure Moses’ conviction.”**
This case serves as a strong reminder of the dangers of carrying weapons, and police continue to urge anyone with concerns about violent crime to report it immediately.
