Fugitive Caught After Nearly 18 Months on the Run
Marc Stinton, 38, who had been on the run with no fixed address, was finally arrested this week after being wanted by Sussex Police for over 17 months.
Brutal Assault at Southwick Green
The savage attack happened in the early hours of Sunday, 26 September 2021, at Southwick Green. The victim, aged 47, was left semi-conscious, bleeding heavily, with serious head injuries and multiple broken bones in his face.
Stinton Surrenders and Faces Serious Charges
On Wednesday, 1 February, Stinton handed himself in to police. He was immediately arrested and charged with “causing grievous bodily harm with intent.”
