Four Men Target Two Victims in Jackson’s Field
On Saturday night, March 26, trouble broke out at Jackson’s Field, off City Way, Chatham. Around 8pm, a gang of four men, one brandishing a knife, approached two other men. They seized a mobile phone and a wallet in a brazen robbery.
Victim Fights Back, Suspects Flee
One of the victims didn’t back down. He managed to wrestle the knife away, forcing the suspects to scatter. Thankfully, no one suffered serious injuries during the frightening ordeal. All involved are believed to be men in their twenties.
Police Act Fast – Suspect Arrested

Later that night, officers arrested a 21-year-old man from Chatham on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries until April 21.
