Keith Green’s heartbroken mum breaks silence after killers sentenced
The mother of Keith Green, murdered at his Banbury home on 13 February last year, has spoken out following the sentencing of Mark Meadows, Travis Gorton, and Louise Grieve today.
Family’s pain laid bare
“Keith’s dad and I have struggled tremendously with the loss of our son,” she revealed, “and I know this pain is shared by our wider family and friends.”
“The last ten months have been the hardest to deal with—it’s felt like a nightmare I can never wake from.”
Sentences bring some comfort
“No sentence can undo what’s been done, but today’s verdict offers some comfort. It marks the start of healing and coming to terms with Keith’s loss,” she added.
Remembering Keith’s true spirit
“Keith was a happy-go-lucky bloke who would help anyone. He was genuine and loved his family dearly.
He leaves behind two young children who will grow up without their dad, plus adult and step-children struggling to face a future without him.”
Thanks to police and support teams
“Not a day goes by without us remembering Keith. I want to thank the police for their thorough investigation, leading to four convictions,” she said.
“A huge thank you also goes to our family liaison officers for their tireless support throughout this ordeal.”
