Murder Probe Launched After Fatal Stabbing in Haringey
A brutal stabbing in Haringey has sparked a murder investigation following the death of 23-year-old Jemal Ebrahim.
Tragic Attack on Russell Road
Police were called at 8.15pm on Wednesday, 13 May, after reports of a man injured on Russell Road, N15. Officers and London Ambulance Service arrived quickly to find Jemal seriously hurt.
Medics treated Jemal at the scene before rushing him to a north London hospital. Sadly, he later died from his injuries.
Police Hunting Dangerous Killer
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Stancombe, leading the inquiry, said: “It remains unclear where the attack took place. Our investigation is moving fast, but I urge anyone with information – no matter how small – to come forward.”
“A life has been taken, a family devastated, and the dangerous individual responsible still roams free. Help us protect your community.”
Four Men Arrested, Released on Bail
Four men aged 21, 24, 23, and 26 were arrested on suspicion of affray on Thursday, 14 May. They have now been released on bail, with a return date set for mid-June as police continue to piece together what happened.
