Serious Crash on Alkham Valley Road Sparks Urgent Police Appeal
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses and dashcam footage after a major smash on Alkham Valley Road.
Late Night Collision Near A20
The crash happened around 9pm on Monday, 25 August 2025, close to the stretch where the road slips under the A20.
Two Cars, Two Drivers Severely Injured
The crash involved a blue Seat Ibiza and a silver BMW.
Emergency crews, including paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. Both drivers suffered life-changing injuries. One was taken to a local hospital, while the other was transferred to a specialist centre for treatment.
Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Key Witness
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is urgently asking anyone with dashcam footage from Alkham Valley Road around the time of the crash to come forward.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a white hatchback travelling towards the A20, who may have witnessed the incident.
