Digger Smash Fails in ATM Heist at Co-op Store

Police raced to the Co-op on Ermine Street, Ancaster, at 12.30am after a digger was driven straight into the shop in a brazen bid to steal an ATM.

The ransack attempt failed and the gang fled before officers arrived. A scene guard is now protecting the store while investigations continue.
