Manhunt On for Nathan Smith Over Finsbury Park Stabbing

The Met Police are hunting Nathan Smith, 27, of no fixed address, over the tragic death of Takieddine “Taki” Boudhane in Finsbury Park. Taki, 30, was fatally stabbed after a violent traffic row on 3 January.

£10,000 Reward to Nab Suspect

Police have issued a hefty £10,000 reward for info leading to Smith’s arrest. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, leading the probe, revealed Smith fled UK the very next day, jetting first to Austria, then Switzerland. Authorities believe he’s now elsewhere in Europe or beyond.

“We are very keen to speak to Nathan Smith as part of our ongoing enquiries,” said DCI John. “We know he fled the country the day after Taki’s murder… There’s a European Arrest Warrant out for him and enquiries continue in several countries, with help from the NCA.”

Smith is described as a white male, around 6ft 3ins tall, slim build, with dark hair and usually a dark beard—though that may be shaved off. He has a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm: ‘count your blessings’. He is known to frequent north London areas like Islington, Camden, and Kentish Town.

Heartbroken Mum Demands Justice

Taki was an Algerian delivery rider living in Enfield. He was caught up in a traffic altercation at Lennox Road near Charteris Road, N4, around 6.50pm before being stabbed multiple times. Despite emergency efforts, he died at the scene. The post-mortem showed death by an incised chest wound.

“Whoever did this horrible crime didn’t kill just my son Taki, but they killed our entire family,” said Taki’s mother, Saida Boudhane. “My son is still alive until we bring to justice the person who murdered my beloved son. All I want now is justice for Taki.”

DCI John added: “Taki was an innocent man who came here seeking a better life. That life was brutally cut short. His family deserves justice, and we need the public to help. Please come forward if you have any information.”
