Four Held After Brutal Bamber Bridge Attack

Four suspects have been arrested following a savage assault on Station Road in Bamber Bridge late last night. Two women were attacked—one stabbed, the other badly beaten.

Police rushed to the scene at 10:19pm after frantic 999 calls. They found two women injured: a woman in her 50s with serious facial wounds, and a woman in her 20s stabbed in the elbow. Both are receiving urgent medical care.

Suspects: From Teens to Middle-Aged Men

  • 44-year-old man
  • 22-year-old man
  • 17-year-old boy
  • 16-year-old boy

All four are in custody, charged with Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH). Police continue to investigate this brutal assault.

Police Reassure, Call for Witnesses

“This was an isolated incident and there was no wider threat to the public,” a Lancashire Police spokesperson said to ease community fears.
