Two Disturbing Incidents Shake Local Coffee Spots
Kent Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to question after two linked indecent acts rocked popular coffee shops in broad daylight on Tuesday, 27 May 2025.
First, at around 12.50pm, a teenage girl was approached by a suspicious man inside Costa Coffee on the corner of the High Street. Alarmed by his behaviour, she quickly left as her friends arrived. Moments later, the same man allegedly committed an indecent act inside the venue.
Man Exposes Himself at Coffee Republic
Just 40 minutes after the Costa incident, police received another report of a man exposing himself inside Coffee Republic on New Road at approximately 1.30pm. Both incidents happened close together in time and location, leading police to treat them as linked.
