Jonathan “Jay” Gore, aged 22, tragically died after being hit by a car on the A265 near Broad Oak, Heathfield, in the early hours of Sunday, 20 September. The young man was walking between Broad Oak and Burwash when the fatal collision occurred. He died at the scene.
