A 36-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested following a savage stabbing in Penhill. The victim, 39, remains in critical condition in hospital after the brutal assault.

Police Launch Witness Appeal
Chief Inspector Carly Nesbitt said: “We want anyone near the North Swindon Family Centre on Atworth Close around 5:30 pm to come forward if they saw anything.”
“We understand this will have shaken the community. Expect increased police patrols in the area over the next few days. If you have information or concerns, please talk to our officers.”
“At this time, we are not looking for anyone else connected to the stabbing and do not believe there is any ongoing threat.”
