Man in His 70s Dies in Horrific Hammersmith Crash
Tragedy struck just after 1.40am on Friday, 7 June, when a deadly crash unfolded on the westbound A4 near the Hammersmith Flyover. Police were called to the scene where three cars had collided.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
The London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade arrived quickly, but a man in his 70s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His partner, also in her 70s, was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
Four Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
- Three people—two men and a woman—were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving at the scene.
- A fourth man, who initially fled the crash, later turned himself in and was also arrested.
- Three have since been released under investigation.
