Suspicious Horsebox Blaze Sparks Kent Police Probe

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a suspicious fire ripped through a horsebox and nearby trailers in Birchington. The blaze broke out before 3am on Tuesday, November 15, sending flames licking across St Margaret’s Road.

Firefighters Battle Flames in Early Hours

Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene at around 3.20am to tackle the fire. The inferno had spread from the horsebox to several trailers and trees, but thankfully no one was injured.

Police Appeal for Eyewitnesses

Detectives are treating the fire as suspicious and want to hear from anyone who saw two people in the area just before the blaze. If you were near St Margaret’s Road that night and spotted anything odd, police urge you to come forward.
