Chaos in Ilford as emergency crews tackle mental health crisis on Clements Lane
Road Shut After Mental Health Incident
Emergency services rushed to Clements Lane, Ilford, at around 3:50pm today following reports of a person in the grip of a serious mental health crisis. The incident has forced a complete road closure near Ilford town centre as police and medics work delicately to help the individual involved.
Traffic Nightmare: Bus Routes Diverted
The closure is causing major chaos on local roads and public transport. Dozens of bus routes have been diverted to keep everyone safe, including routes 25, 86, 123, 128, 145, 147, 150, 167, 169, 179, 364, 366, 425, 462, 667, 679, and W19. Transport for London (TfL) has released updated diversion routes, urging drivers to steer clear of the area to avoid snarls on already heavy traffic.
