Community Safety Is Top Priority, Say Police

Sgt Georgina Romani, from the Stratton, Central North and West Swindon Community Policing Team, told us: “We set up checkpoints at multiple spots, stopping every vehicle to crack down on drug offences.

“While we welcomed the many clean breath tests, it’s clear a small minority are putting everyone at risk. We’ll keep taking strong action to disrupt drug-related crime and protect residents.”

She urged locals to stay vigilant: “We thank the community for their support and encourage everyone to report anything suspicious.”

See Something, Say Something
