Teenager Attacked and Robbed in Broad Daylight Near Southampton City Centre

Shocking daylight assault happened between 12.25pm and 12.45pm last Saturday, 25 March, near Bargate Southampton and Castle Way.

Two Teens Demand Bag, Phone, and Shoes – Victim Fights Back

A teenage boy was confronted by two other youths asking him to hand over his bag, phone, and shoes. He refused. The victim fled towards Westquay shopping centre but was chased back onto Castle Way.

One attacker reportedly punched the boy, causing minor facial injuries. During the attack, the victim dropped his phone, which the other teen grabbed.

Good Samaritan Steps In to Help Victim

A passerby bravely intervened, helping the victim retrieve his belongings from the ground.

Police Hunting Two White Teens, 14-15, Slim Build

  • One approx. 5ft 6ins tall, slim, wearing a grey beanie
  • The other approx. 5ft 5ins tall, slim, with dark short hair and a black Nike coat resembling a gilet

Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or the helpful member of the public to come forward. Your information could be vital.
