Man Found Dead on Eastbourne Road – Two Arrested
Emergency services were called to Eastbourne Road at around 2.50pm after the body of a 32-year-old man was discovered. Police have since arrested a 23-year-old and a 32-year-old on suspicion of murder.
Victim’s Family Supported as Investigation Continues
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. Police remain at the scene carrying out forensic and witness enquiries.
Detective Urges Public to Come Forward
“An investigation is underway following this tragic incident and we are keen to speak to anyone with information which could assist our enquiries,” said Detective Chief Inspector Simon Vaughan.
“If you were in the area this evening, saw or heard any suspicious behaviour, or have CCTV or dashcam footage, please come forward. Any information, no matter how small, could prove vital to our investigation.”
