Violent Stabbing Shocks Crystal Palace
A man in his 50s was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest at a Shell petrol station on Crystal Palace Parade. The stabbing happened just before 3pm on Wednesday, 19 March.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service responded immediately. London’s Air Ambulance also attended the scene. The victim was treated at the petrol station before being flown to a major trauma centre in London. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Crime Scene Cleared, Investigation Ongoing
Police set up a crime scene at the petrol station, which was lifted the following day as inquiries continue. No arrests have been made yet, and officers remain in the area looking for witnesses.
“Police were called at 2.30pm on Wednesday, 19 March following a serious assault. A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his chest.
