Victim chased thief after phone robbery

At around 10pm on Sunday 16 April, a 65-year-old man had his phone snatched right from his hand. He gave chase, begging for it back, but the thief struck back hard.

Thief escalates violence with wallet theft and punches

The attacker grabbed the victim’s wallet and battered him with several punches to the face. The victim fell to the ground, suffering significant facial injuries.

Police and charity seek public help

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact British Transport Police immediately. You can text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2300042761.
