Dad Threatened with Knife in Binstead
Police have launched an investigation after a man threatened to stab a father on the Isle of Wight. The shocking incident unfolded this afternoon (Thursday) in the Binstead area.
Drug-Fuelled Road Rage
The victim, driving with his two young children in the car, tried to drive around a man described as being “high as a kite” who was blocking the road. When the dad asked the man to move, he refused.
Things quickly turned violent when the man brandished a kitchen knife, threatening the terrified driver.
Police Step In
Hampshire Constabulary officers were called to the scene and have questioned a suspect. Enquiries remain ongoing as police work to piece together what sparked the terrifying standoff.
