Teen Stabbed at Bus Stop in Birmingham – Police Hunt Attackers

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed while waiting at a bus stop in Birmingham, sparking an urgent police hunt for the attackers.

The attack happened around 7:30pm on Saturday, 15 February, on Lodge Road opposite Norton Street. The teen was waiting for the number 101 bus when a black VW Polo pulled up nearby.

Several people jumped out of the car and chased the boy. He fell into the entrance of the arriving bus, where the attackers stabbed him in the arms before fleeing.

The victim suffered serious injuries but is not in life-threatening condition. He is currently recovering in hospital.

Police Issue Urgent Appeal and Release CCTV Images

Detective Constable Jo-Anne Hindmarsh of Bournville CID called the attack “concerning” and said officers are “working tirelessly to bring the offenders to justice.”

West Midlands Police have released CCTV images of two individuals they want to identify, believing these may be key to cracking the case.

“We know there are people out there who can help us,” said DC Hindmarsh. “Please don’t hesitate to get in touch – even small details can be crucial.”
