Elderly Woman Targeted in Early Morning Flat Break-In
Just after midnight on April 19, a woman in her nineties was terrorised in her Crowthorne Road flat. At around 12:15am, a stranger knocked on her door. When she answered, the intruder forced her way inside, pushed her, and snatched her phone.
Thug Steals Cash and Threatens Victim
The attacker then threatened the elderly woman and stole money from her purse before fleeing. Thankfully, the victim was left uninjured.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
- Offender: Woman, 20s
- Outfit: Red tartan joggers and dark waterproof jacket
- Hair: Brown, in a ponytail
- Accent: Irish
PC Naomi Padgett from Loddon Valley police station urged locals to step up. “If you saw anything or have CCTV, please come forward,” she said.
