Three Held in Major Folkestone Drugs Raid
Police have swooped on a Folkestone property, seizing suspected Class A drugs and making three arrests in a crackdown on county lines drug dealing.
Big Haul in Marine Parade Raid
On the morning of Tuesday 17 December 2019, officers from the Folkestone Community Policing Team (CPT) executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a Marine Parade address. Between 50 and 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs were recovered, alongside cash and mobile phones linked to drug trafficking.
Three Men Arrested
- A 27-year-old and a 43-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
- A 49-year-old local man was taken into custody for allegedly permitting his premises to be used for drug dealing.
All three remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Police Vow Crackdown on County Lines Crime
Sergeant Greg Pochin from Folkestone CPT said: “Kent Police has resources covering the entirety of the county to disrupt and dismantle criminal activity linked to county lines, drugs and the exploitation of vulnerable people.”
This latest operation signals a firm stance against county lines gangs and drug crime in Kent streets.
