A two-year-old boy is clinging to life after falling from an eighth-floor window at Cedar House in Sunbury, Surrey. The horror unfolded around 3.50pm on Tuesday when emergency services raced to Spelthorne Grove following reports of a child’s fall.

Airlifted to hospital, condition critical but stable

Police and paramedics acted fast, airlifting the toddler to hospital. Surrey Police confirmed the child remains critically ill but stable after the terrifying incident.

“We were called to reports of a child who had fallen from the window of a block of flats on Spelthorne Grove in Sunbury at around 3.50pm yesterday afternoon,” said a Surrey Police spokesperson.

“Officers responded along with colleagues from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and airlifted the boy to hospital.”

Police investigation ongoing amid scene cordon

Photos from the scene showed police tape surrounding the block of flats where the fall occurred. Though the cordon has now been lifted, detectives are continuing their probe into exactly how the fall happened.
