If you’re not paying your Council Tax by direct debit, or if the name on your account doesn’t match your direct debit, don’t panic. You’ll get a letter soon inviting you to apply for your £150 energy rebate.
Quickest Way to Snag Your Cash
Know your Council Tax account number? Head straight to worthing.gov.uk/council-tax/energy-rebate" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">adur-worthing.gov.uk/council-tax/energy-rebate and fill in the form. You’ll need your Council Tax account number — find it on your bill.
Check If You’ve Got It or If You’re Eligible
- See if you qualify for the rebate.
- Check if your payment’s already been sent.
You can choose to get the £150 either straight into your bank account (look out for a payment labelled ‘Energy Rebate’) or as a credit on your Council Tax bill.
