Teen Held Over Fatal Stabbing of Dariusz Wolosz
Police investigating the horrific murder of 46-year-old Dariusz Wolosz have made a dramatic arrest. A 13-year-old boy was taken into custody on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 6 January. He remains held while inquiries continue.
Stabbing on West Drayton High Street
The chilling attack took place just after midnight on Tuesday, 4 January. London Ambulance Service alerted police at 00:12hrs after reports of a man stabbed on the High Street in Yiewsley, West Drayton.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Dariusz, a local Polish resident, critically injured. Despite desperate efforts from paramedics and police, he was pronounced dead at 12.43am.
A post-mortem confirmed he died from stab wounds to his groin and chest.
Police Hunt Group Behind Attack
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley, leading the probe, revealed the attack followed a verbal dispute on Tavistock Road. “We believe Dariusz was attacked by a group of males who fled in different directions,” he said.
The area was busy at the time, with traffic and pedestrians. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have caught the attack or its lead-up on dash or doorbell cameras.
“Dariusz’s family are distraught and we are doing everything we can to support them,” Jolley added. “Please check your cameras and get in touch if you saw anything.”
