Tragedy on B2095: Young Boy Dies After Car and Van Crash
A deadly collision shocked Eastbourne on Thursday afternoon. At about 3.05pm on 15 December, police rushed to the B2095 after a crash involving a car and a flatbed van.
Life-Threatening Injuries and Heartbreaking Death
Emergency crews, including ambulance officers, quickly arrived on the scene. A young boy trapped in the wreckage was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he passed away two days later on Saturday 17 December.

A 33-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody and awaits questioning.
