£300k Watch Heist Hits Stepney Green Delivery Route

Detectives are hunting for crooks who swiped a stash of luxury watches worth over £300,000 from a FedEx van in Stepney Green.

The theft happened between 10.05am and 10.25am on Monday, 1 June. Thieves targeted two boxes packed with rare Cabot Watch Company (CWC) timepieces, known for being sold only through select shops or directly from the maker.

The van made stops at Cephas Street, Pemell Close, and Assembly Passage before the heist struck from the rear of the vehicle. Alongside the watches, several other packages were also stolen.

Rare Watches Stolen – Police Seek Help

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone spotting these exclusive watches on the market to come forward. No arrests have been made yet.

“If you saw anything or have info on the suspects or these watches, call the Met on 101 quoting CAD 5349/09JUL20,” police urged.
