Two teenagers have been rushed to the hospital after being shot in west London last night. Armed police responded swiftly to the scene at Verity Close, Notting Hill, at around 11:40 PM on July 1.

A Met Police spokesperson provided a full statement: “Police were called at about 11:40 PM on Monday, July 1, to Verity Close, Notting Hill, following reports of gunshots. Officers, including firearms officers, attended and found two boys – aged 15 and 16 – with gunshot injuries. They were taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”

The investigation is being led by Trident detectives, who are working closely with colleagues from the Central West Command Unit, responsible for policing Kensington. A crime scene remains in place as officers continue their enquiries.

The first crew of paramedics arrived on the scene within three minutes, underscoring the urgency and seriousness of the situation.
