Hunt on for Serial Attacker in Leeds
Police are hunting a man linked to four shocking sexual assaults in Leeds’ Harehills and Gipton neighbourhoods. The attacks have all happened within the last month, sparking fears across the community.
Four Attacks in Weeks
- 17 November, 5:30pm, Berkley Road: A woman was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted before the suspect fled.
- 8 December, 11:35am, Hill Top Mount: Another female victim targeted, assaulted similarly.
- 8 December, 1:00pm, Amberton Road, Gipton: Third attack same day, same method.
- 22 December, 11:40am, Back Hill Top Avenue, Harehills: Latest assault reported, again from behind.
Suspect Description: Short, Asian Male
Police believe these vile assaults were committed by the same man. Witnesses describe him as a short Asian male, wearing dark clothing. At different times, he was spotted in a long black, baggy coat and a navy-blue puffer jacket.
