Man Fatally Stabbed in West Drayton: Police Name Victim
Detectives have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing in West Drayton and are urgently appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage. The attack unfolded just after midnight on Tuesday, 4 January, on Yiewsley High Street.
Tragic Scene on Yiewsley High Street
London Ambulance Service alerted police at 00:12hrs following reports of a stabbing. Officers and paramedics found a man suffering from stab wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at 00:43hrs.
The victim has been named as 46-year-old Dariusz Wolosz, a local Polish national. His family is receiving specialist support.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
No arrests have been made yet. Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley revealed the attack followed a verbal dispute on Tavistock Road. He said:
“We believe Dariusz was attacked by a group of males who then fled in different directions. The area was busy with passing traffic, so drivers or residents might have captured dash cam or doorbell footage.”
He added, “Dariusz’ family are distraught, and we are doing everything we can to support them. We urgently need the public’s help to find those responsible.”
