Firefighters Mobilised Quickly
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews from Newhaven were called at 4.25pm to a fire in open land off McKinley Way.
No Injuries as Fire Rages Near Industrial Estate
The fire broke out in shrubland near an access road behind the town’s retail and industrial estate. Emergency teams worked swiftly to bring the flames under control. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.
Cause of Fire Still Unknown
Authorities have yet to determine what sparked the blaze. Fire investigators are expected to probe the cause in the coming days.
