Three 15-year-old boys have been arrested following a robbery and stabbing in Redhouse, Swindon, on Saturday evening (January 4, 2025).

Police were alerted to the incident at around 5:50 p.m., when the ambulance service reported that a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed on Eastbury Way. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also robbed of his e-bike.

Swift Arrests and Recovery of Stolen Bike

Responding officers quickly detained three teenagers in the area and recovered the stolen e-bike. The suspects were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have since been bailed while investigations continue.

A crime scene was set up at the location but has since been lifted.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker described the attack as a serious incident and praised officers for their rapid response:

“This was a serious incident in which a teenager has suffered knife wounds and had his bike stolen. Following swift enquiries, we were able to detain and arrest three teenagers in connection with the incident and recover the bike.”

DCI Walker also appealed for any witnesses or those with information to come forward:

“This incident took place in a public area at the junction between Eastbury Way and Addinsell Road. We would ask anyone who saw what happened or has any information to get in touch with us.”
