Jet2 Cancels Mainland Spain Holidays Until October

Jet2 and Jet2holidays have scrapped their holiday programme to Mainland Spain – including Malaga, Alicante, and Barcelona – up to and including 31st October 2020. If you had a trip booked before then, your holiday isn’t happening as planned.

Jet2 is already reaching out to affected customers to sort things out.

Flights to Canary Islands and Balearics Suspended

Following the latest FCDO travel advice, Jet2 has also halted flights to the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Lanzarote) until 12th September 2020. Flights to the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca) are suspended until 30th November 2020.

Additionally, flights to Croatian hotspots Dubrovnik, Split, and Pula are paused until the end of October.

Customer Care: Rebook, Refund Credit, or Full Cash Refund

Jet2 expressed disappointment but emphasised its commitment to customers. Those hit by cancellations can rebook with no admin fees, opt for a Refund Credit Note, or claim a full cash refund.

The airline continues to monitor the situation and calls on the government to adopt a more tailored travel advice approach rather than blanket bans.

Good News: New Flights to Greece, Turkey, and Portugal

For those not affected, Jet2 has added hundreds of new flights to destinations in Greece, Turkey, and Portugal. This offers customers fresh options for their 2020 summer breaks.

Jet2 thanks all customers for their patience and understanding during these uncertain times.
