Teen Arrested Over Shocking Wavertree Sexual Assaults
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after two terrifying attacks rocked the Wavertree area in December.
First Attack: Woman in 60s Assaulted on Crosfield Road
The first horrifying incident happened just after 6.30pm on Wednesday, 20 December. A woman in her 60s was sexually assaulted on Crosfield Road, Edge Hill, sparking alarm among locals.
Second Assault: Dog Walker Targeted Near Liverpool Tennis Centre
Just over a week later, on Thursday, 28 December, around 7pm, a woman in her 40s was pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted while walking her dog on a footpath off Picton Road near Liverpool Tennis Centre, Wavertree.
Suspect in Custody
The teenager was arrested and taken to a Merseyside police station for questioning as detectives continue their investigation into these sickening crimes.
