Ram Raid Shocker at Ewell Co-Op – Police Hunt Masked Thieves
Thieves struck in the early hours of 27 November, smashing their way into the Co-Op on Ruxley Lane, Ewell. Police were alerted around 4.15am after reports emerged of a gang wearing balaclavas trying to steal the shop’s cash machine.
Armed Police Launch Search But Suspects Escape
The police response was swift and serious, with armed officers scouring the area. Despite an intensive search, no suspects were caught at the scene.
Red Mitsubishi 4×4 Abandoned Nearby
Investigators found a red Mitsubishi 4X4 believed to have been used in the ram raid abandoned close by. The vehicle is now a crucial lead.
