Finlay Pitt, 20, Dies in Horror Collision

The family of Finlay Pitt, 20, have paid a heartfelt tribute after he died in a crash on the A29 Stane Street between Pulborough and Adversane.

Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 9.30pm on Thursday, February 16, but sadly Finlay, from Broadford Bridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family Mourns Beloved Son and Brother

In an emotional statement, Finlay’s family said: “We are heartbroken. Finlay was loved by everyone. He was a son to David and Morag, brother to Lewis and Esther, and soulmate to Zoe.”

They also thanked the police for their compassion and praised support from friends, family, and Pulborough Rugby Football Club.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police confirmed a blue Hyundai left the road in the collision and are actively investigating.
