Bootle Sex Beast Locked Up for 18 Years After Horrific 2015 Kidnap and Rape

Police have slammed the door on another vile predator linked to a brutal Bootle abduction and assault from 2015. Kamil Lesiak, 25, was handed an 18-year prison sentence today at Liverpool Crown Court for false imprisonment, assault, rape, and forcing a man into non-consensual sex.

Four Criminals, One Terrifying Ordeal

The nightmare unfolded in November 2015 when a 27-year-old victim was kidnapped and held captive for 10 hours. Lesiak, alongside Daniel Misiolek and two others, subjected the man to a savage campaign of abuse and sexual assault. Lesiak had been on the run, finally arrested in Anfield in September 2020 after skipping court.

Back in 2016, the other three culprits were also locked up:

  • Daniel Misiolek – Jailed for life for kidnap, rape, robbery, and multiple counts of sexual offences.
  • Awna Baszak – Sentenced to 12 years for kidnap and involvement in sexual offences.
  • Dagmara Szary – Got 15 months in a young offenders institution for kidnap.

Detective Praises Victim’s Bravery as Justice Is Served

“It is pleasing to see this highly disturbing case brought to a full conclusion, and Lesiak facing the consequences of his appalling violence and abuse,” said Detective Sergeant Jamie Dean. “Lesiak and Misiolek subjected their victim to a horrific ordeal, some of which was even filmed by Awna Baszak on a mobile phone.”

“The victim’s courage throughout this long journey ensured four attackers are now behind bars. Rape has a devastating and lasting impact. His bravery sends a powerful message to other victims — step forward, we will support you.”
