Stolen Alfa Romeo Crashes on A36 – Driver Flees on Foot

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash on the A36 in Warminster early Wednesday morning (15/3). A black Alfa Romeo, believed to be stolen, slammed near the Granada services just after 8.45am.

Driver Makes Daring Escape, Police Launch Search

The driver jumped out and fled before police arrived. Officers on the ground, including a police dog handler and dog Frankie, quickly picked up the trail. They found discarded items in a bush – clothes and number plates thought to have been tossed by the quick-footed suspect.

Ongoing Investigation – Police Seek Witnesses

The seized items are now key evidence as investigations continue. Police are urging anyone who saw the crash or has dash cam footage to come forward.
