Tragedy on A30: Two Van Drivers Dead After Morning Crash

Police have named the two men who died in a smash on the A30 near Nether Wallop. The fatal collision involving two vans happened at 7am this week.

Victims Identified

Christopher Coombes, 63, from Chalk Pyt Road, Salisbury, was behind the wheel of a white Citroen van. Daniel Curtin, 58, of Georges Road, Reading, drove the blue Volkswagen van.

Both men were sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The collision has left the local community in shock.

Police Launch Probe

Officers are still piecing together exactly how the crash happened. They’re urging anyone who saw the collision or spotted either vehicle beforehand to come forward.
