Finbar Sullivan, 21, was savagely beaten and fatally stabbed at Primrose Hill, North London, last Tuesday, a court heard today. The student was attacked by a gang of men in a shocking daylight assault witnessed by dozens.

Seven Men Join in Deadly Attack

Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, 27, appeared at the Old Bailey accused of murder. Prosecutors say he and seven others punched, kicked, and stamped on Finbar after knocking him to the ground at the busy Primrose Hill viewpoint. Prosecutor Zara Brawley said: “This case involved the eruption of extreme violence in a public place in broad daylight.” “The fatal stabbing occurred around 6.40pm on 7 April in plain view.”   While Finbar lay helpless, another man stabbed him twice, including a fatal wound to his thigh. Paramedics arrived quickly but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

More Arrests as Police Close Net

Two more men, Alexis Bidace and Ernest Boateng, both 25, have now been charged with Finbar’s murder. They appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court this morning but denied involvement.   Defence lawyer Anna Wright confirmed the pair deny any participation. District Judge Daniel Benjamin remanded them in custody pending their Old Bailey hearing this Friday. In a related development, Khalid Abdulqadir, 18, also faces charges of grievous bodily harm, violent disorder, and knife possession after a separate stabbing linked to the same incident. His victim suffered serious injuries, including a removed spleen and a broken hand.

Family Mourns Lost Son

Finbar, known as Fin, was a student at the London Screen Academy. His father, Christopher Sullivan, 65, told the Daily Mail his son had been out testing a new birthday camera.

“This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine. He’s my only son… I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced,”

Officers continue appealing for information from the public, quoting reference 6448/07Apr, as the investigation unfolds.
