Blaze Rips Through Empty House in Overnight Inferno
A detached house was gutted by fire, destroying its roof, first floor, and ground floor. Luckily, no one was injured.
Firefighters Battle Massive Blaze
Station Commander Rob Hazzard, who arrived at the scene, confirmed the property was believed to be unoccupied. “Because the property was believed to be vacant and unoccupied at the time of the fire, there were no reports of injuries,” he said.
Crews faced a fierce blaze that had already engulfed the entire house. “Crews worked tirelessly to put out the fire and bring it under control,” Commander Hazzard added.
Rapid Response from Multiple Fire Stations
The Fire Brigade was first called at 3:45am. Teams from Finchley, West Hampstead, Hornsey, and Kentish Town rushed to the scene. The inferno was finally extinguished by 6am.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
Officials are now probing the origin of the fire to determine how it started.
