Three Nabbed in High-Speed Essex Burglary Bust
Essex Police moved fast to catch three suspects just 12 minutes after a burglary alarm sounded in Witham early today.
Break-In Sparks Rapid Police Chase
At around 4:00 AM, officers were alerted to a break-in on Newman Crescent, Witham, where intruders forced their way into a home and stole hundreds of pounds in cash before making a getaway in a black Audi.
Within minutes, Essex Police’s roads policing and armed response teams locked onto the Audi on the A12. Using expert driving skills, they executed a controlled boxing maneuver to safely stop the vehicle and avoid a dangerous high-speed chase.
Suspects Caught Red-Handed with £500 Stash
- Two women and one man were arrested inside the car on suspicion of burglary.
- Police recovered £500 believed stolen in the raid.
All three remain in custody as inquiries continue.
