A woman in her 70s has died following a savage attack by two dogs inside a Wolverhampton home. Emergency services were scrambled to Willis Pearson Avenue at around 1.30pm today after reports that the elderly lady was seriously injured. Despite frantic efforts by first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Arrested After Deadly Dog Attack

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog, causing injury resulting in death. The man was also taken to the hospital with hand injuries. Police confirmed both dogs were destroyed at the scene due to continued aggression when officers arrived.

Police Launch Full Investigation
