Man in his 20s Shot Dead on High Road, N22
Shots rang out on High Road, N22, at around 9:30pm on Sunday, July 24, sparking a swift police response.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Firearms officers were among the first to arrive, finding a young man injured by gunfire. They tried desperately to save him, administering first aid on the spot.
The London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance also attended the scene. Sadly, despite valiant efforts, the man was pronounced dead at 10pm.
Investigation Underway, Road Closed
Police have cordoned off the area as a crime scene, closing the road to all traffic. No arrests have been made yet, but detectives continue to hunt for answers.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
