Urgent Appeal: Elderly Nepalese Man Missing in Aldershot
Police are urgently trying to find 74-year-old Dhanpati Rai, who has been missing for three days from Aldershot. Authorities are deeply worried about his safety.
Last Seen Near Kings Road
Mr Rai, who is vulnerable and speaks very little English, was last spotted around 7am on July 4 in the Kings Road area. Since then, he hasn’t contacted friends or family—a major concern, as this is very unlike him.
Description and Whereabouts
- Height: 5ft 7ins
- Build: Slim
- Clothing: Black trousers, light long-sleeved shirt, waistcoat
- Accessories: Often wears a dark baseball cap
He is known to enjoy walking near Caesar’s Camp and visiting the Wellington Statue just outside Aldershot.
Police Plea
Detective Constable Jenny Newton said: “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to find Mr Rai and would urge those in the Aldershot area to keep an eye out for him. It’s been three days, and he has no money or mobile phone, so we are increasingly concerned for his welfare. If you see him, please contact us immediately.”
